This model had a higher degree of difficultly than a lot of the others I have attempted lately. The design is included in Tomoko Fuse's Unit Origami Wonderland. The book can be purchased from The Source on the OrigamiUSA.org website. I used Miyabi Chiyogami Floral Print origami paper I purchased locally from Michael's craft store. It is hit or miss with origami supplies from Michael's so I will add that it can also be purchased from Kim's Crane online. The package comes in 6 x 6 squares that I cut into 3 x 3 squares for each unit. The model uses 60 units. There are some imperfections in this model, due to my lack of experience. Next time I attempt this, I would like to try something a little less busy and maybe with a small amount of texture instead. I think the busy design of the paper takes away from the overall shape of the model.
