Regenbogen Kusudama (design by Maria Vahrusheva)



See video below for this wonderful model.  Both are made with 30 pieces of 1.5 x 3 inch paper.  Completed they are about 3 inches tall.
Attempt 1 (above): Made from two-sided origami paper.  I added a clear line for hanging.



Attempt 2 (above):
I used two sided origami paper I purchased from Kim's Crane online.
I really like how a bit of the purple shows through at the edge of each unit.
